Our Post-Doc Working Group "Shakespearean Pasts, African Futurities" in cooperation with Iwalewa Haus and Bayfink cordially invite you to a Rehearsed Reading of Femi Osofisan's Wesoo Hamlet by the award-winning South-African Theatre Duo Billy Langa and Mahlatsi Mokgonyana. The event will take place at the Foyer of Iwalewahaus starting at 5pm.

Billy Langa and Mahlatsi Mokgonyana - or The TheatreDuo, as they are affectionally known - are an independent collaborative theatre working and living in South Africa. They becan their unique brand of physical and storytelling theatre productions in 2015. They have since üproduced their original plays in Johannesburg, South Africa and toured most parts of the country and internationally. This has earned them critic's picks and awards which include the Cape Town Fringe Award for Performance, Cape Town Fringe Fresh Creative Award for directing, Standard Bank Ovation award, The Naledi Theatre Award for Best Production for young audiences and ACT (Arts and Culture Trust) Impact runner-up prize.
