Chair of African Legal Studies to host guests from the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights on Monday, 10 June 2024
On 10 June 2024, the Chair of African Legal Studies shall be hosting Dr. Robert Eno and Justice Dennis Dominic Adjei, the Registrar and Judge of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights respectively. The African Court is a continental court established by African States to ensure protection of human and peoples’ rights in Africa.
Our guests shall present at the Human Rights in Africa seminar on the topic: Special protection of human and peoples’ rights in Africa: Case of children, women’s rights and environment. Thereafter, the guests shall, jointly with other faculty members and experts, present in a moderated roundtable session on the topic: Role of comparative human rights law and jurisprudence in regional human rights systems and regimes.
