The team of the Digital Research Environment (DRE) of the Cluster of Excellence has begun collecting and integrating research data from all the Cluster's research projects into WissKi@UBT.

WissKI@UBT is the primary repository for the research data of the Cluster of Excellence and all its research projects conducted at the University of Bayreuth, the African Cluster Centres, and other partner institutions.  

The DRE of the Cluster is proud to announce that WissKI@UBT now hosts a first collection of datasets from current research projects. Publishing a dataset via WissKI@UBT is the outcome of collaborative consultations with the data curators of the DRE. The DRE team is currently consulting 19 research projects and has already completed consultations with another 24 projects. Uploading research data and integrating related metadata in WissKI@UBT is the final step in this process.

By publishing their research data via WissKI@UBT, researchers can enhance the visibility of their projects, attract potential collaborators, and inspire peers, ultimately promoting their research topics and elevating their research groups. Research data is kept in well-protected environments which adhere to high standards for data security and data protection. WissKI@UBT's federated environment ensures data sovereignty of partner institutions.
