Sara Blecher is an internationally award-winning documentary and fiction film producer/ director with extensive training and experience as an intimacy coordinator. Together with Kate Lush, she has founded Safe Sets and IPSA (Intimacy Practitioners South Africa), and they have worked to develop a set of protocols for the South African industry.
In 2021, Blecher joined Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence for the film festival Cinema Africa, where she presented her film “Mayfair”. “Mayfair” is a 2018 South African Indian action drama film written by Neil McCarthy and directed by Sara Blecher.
