Dr. Jae Sook Cheong joined Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence in Bayreuth University as a data curator from April, 2022.
Her background is in algorithms in computational geometry and graph theory, with R&D experiences software/digital contents industry.
Her research interests are representing topics of knowledge in graph format, data analytics.
Education
She received a B.A. in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH in South Korea in 1996, an MPhil in Computer Science and Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2000, and a Ph.D in Information and Computing Sciences from Utrecht University in 2006.
Work Experience
December 2019 - April 2022: Researcher at iisys, Hof University of Applied Sciences.
